Ever since the very first time I saw The Royal Tenenbaums back in the mid-2000s. I was blown away by the colors, the music, the vintage appeal, but mostly—how very beautiful imperfection can look. Being my first Wes Anderson film, The Royal Tenenbaums will always hold first place in my heart, but his 1998 classic Rushmore is a very close second. • This soundtrack is perfect for today’s #HalloweenHorrorVinylChallenge by @vinylandfeet - Black Sunday: Favorite Movie Soundtrack. One of the best things about this movie (and all of his movies) is how perfectly each song connects with its scene, and for that, we have songs from @thekinksofficial , @Yusufcatstevens , @officialthewho , @johnlennon , with its closing scene ending the movie out so seamlessly with Ooh La La by Faces. • Any other #WesAnderson nerds out there? What’s your favorite movie soundtrack?
