And also the last week of the #HalloweenHorrorVinylChallenge hosted by @vinylandfeet — today’s theme is The Craft: Any Album Cover with a Pentagram or a Symbol, and while I have some pretty devilish covers, I don’t have many with specific symbols, so we’re going with our friend the Reaper and spinning Some Enchanted Evening by Blue Oyster Cult! • Some Enchanted Evening is one of my favorite live albums. Despite its cover, this album vibes on chill times and rocking riffs, just as you’d expect from the guys who introduced the magic of the cow bell to the world (or should we thank SNL for that one?)—this live album released in 1978 and is actually the band’s best selling album. Favorite tracks would be We Gotta Get Out of This Place and of course, (Don’t Fear) The Reaper. πŸ’€ ••• As we finish off this series, what’s your favorite spooky tune? I’m compiling a playlist for our Halloween celebrations and could use some suggestions! So drop ‘em if you got ‘em! ⬇️⬇️⬇️
